 Measuring Your Windows and Fitting For Vertical Blinds#

NOTE: when you measure for rollers and verticals that you only need to put the recess measurements down.

Measuring

The width and drop for each blind must be clearly specified, to the nearest 1cm

Please be aware of the following when measuring:

This measurement is the exact area you would like the blind to cover

Recess

This measurement should be calculated by measuring the drop from the top of the recess to the

windowsill in three places and the width by measuring the recess from wall to wall in three places

Angled Bay windows

1. Use 2 pieces of headrail with the appropriate face

fix brackets attached.

2. Butt the rails together in the corner where the two

blinds will meet.

3. Mark the edge of the rails lightly with a pencil.

4. Repeat the action in the corner.

5. Take the rail width measurements.

6. Place your order for each rail at a full centimetre.

Fitting

Cord length adjustment

1. Put the cord weight on the cord.

2. Take hold of the loose cord in the headrail, then loosen the grub screw that holds it in place.

3. Pull the cord through until it’s the desired length and re-tighten the grub screw.

4. Trim off the excess cord.

Chain length adjustment

1. Undo the chain connector.

2. Remove the chain from the connector.

3. Shorten the chain to match the cord length.

4. Trim the excess chain.

5. Replace the ends of the chain into the connector and close it up.

1. Remove the screw in the control end cap.

2. Remove the existing chain.

3. Replace with the new continuous loop.

4. Replace the end cap and screw into place.

5. Continue fitting as normal and then adjust the cord

as before.

Vertical blinds are controlled using cords, please specify whether you require these on the left or right

The blind can be made to either draw to the left, right or the bunch of louvres can be split to both sides

headrails

Headrails are available in either white (89mm and 127mm) or brown (89mm only)

All visible components are colour matched to the headrail

Tilt control chain (that controls the angles of the louvres) are plastic.

Blinds are supplied with either face fix,top fix or universal extension brackets that co-ordinate with the headrail.
